Please see the below questions from the Features Editor of CLEO August 2008:
1. How often do you think people are caught out cheating by technology?
The answer three years ago would be 15% of the time, but today it’s more then 80%.
2. What are the most common ways (phone, email, internet, credit cards or banking online)? (Perhaps with this we could list the top five ways people are caught out cheating via the internet or technology and a brief sentence or description of each)
1. Via the Net. “You chat, you meet, you cheat!”
Note if s/he makes frequent visits to free e-mail accounts (i.e., hotmail, msn, yahoo, etc…). If you suspect that your partner is involved in an online affair, install a keystroke logger on your computer, which logs every keystroke. Remotely view their emails.
2. Hidden Cameras.
Covert Cameras are now viewed directly on line or the image can even be sent to your mobile phone. This enables you to view what is transpiring in your home from anywhere in the world.
3.The Mobile
The mobile phone has been a gift to many an unfaithful partner. View all the deleted call and text messages within minutes using a sim reader.
4. GPS tracking,
Place a GPS tracking device in the car. They are usually no larger than a pack of gum and will track anywhere his/her vehicle goes. Log on to the net and view their movements live.
5. Cards,
Check all the credit card statements, ATM withdrawals and receipts for any unusual transactions. Make note of any strange dates and times. Check closely for the names of places as most brothels appear on the statements as restaurants.
3. If you suspect someone, how would you go about checking them out? (Maybe this could be point form)
Gone are the days where your partner comes home with lipstick on his shirt or smelling of the other women’s perfume!!!
The most common ways you would check someone out in this day and age, is to read their emails and text messages. However the most effective way is to track them with live covert GPS units. The units are fully controlled through the internet and will give you an exact position on where s/he are and have been, when ever you want. This is also one of the cheapest ways.
4. When do you think checking up on someone crosses the line into invading their privacy?
If you have a gut feeling that your partner is cheating, 90 percent of the time there is something going on. It might not be that they are cheating it could be something else, but it is your god given right to know what your partner is doing.
People cheat because of different reasons. Results from our case studies over 12years indicate:
- 3 percent or less cheat to hurt their partners.
- 33 percent cheat due to alcohol/drugs, meeting an ex-lover, not in love anymore, finding a someone that is younger or better looking, lack of self confidence or being propositioned to.
- 54 percent cheat because they are bored of the routine. They feel there is no excitement in their life and that everyday is mundane and the same.
